东和社区在佛山市三水区南山镇境内，按城乡分类属村庄；名称沿自它以前的叫法东和办事处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

东和于1980年作为管理区归迳口华侨农场；1999年成为办事处，由华侨经济区领导；2010年设社区居民委员会，沿用此名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

东和社区先后有三项荣誉：2019年9月名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」；2022年1月，省乡村振兴局定其为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位。[1]
