南江社区是佛山市顺德区大良街道下辖的社区，位于顺德新城中心、105国道两旁，面积2.27平方公里。[1]

地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

南江村在民国时是南畔、蜀岗、背岗三个村，新中国成立后合为一村；因南畔村最大，取其首字，蜀岗、背岗取末字，定名「南岗」。为与广州、英德等地的南岗区别，1984年改用同音的「江」字，称南江。[1] 1950年名为乡，1958年名为大队，1983年再名为乡，1987年名为村，1989年易名为管理区，1992年设村委会，2001年撤村建居，设南江居委会。[1]

人口[edit]

社区共1933户、8669人，其中拥有固化股权者6059人；登记在册的外来流动者3200人，下辖南江、南霞、漕渔、顺华4个居民小组。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，社区列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单（2018年度）。[1]
