苏岗社区是佛山市顺德区大良街道下辖的社区，位于新城区中心，顺德区委、区政府所在地，总面积3.96平方公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年名为乡，1958年名为大队，1983年再名为乡，1987年名为村，1989年易名为管理区，1998年撤销管理区、设村民委员会，2001年变为苏岗居委会；同年10月获批撤村改居。[1]
人口[edit]
社区共1240户，常住5040人，外来流动者千余人，下设4个居民小组和1个社区股份合作社。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
太平塔又名旧寨塔，坐落太平山，明代所建，道光十一年（1831年）与光绪十四年（1888年）两度重修；塔为砖砌，八角七层，楼阁式，通高25.6米。周鉴井在太平山麓，圆形，用鸭屎石砌成，井边另砌有直径近5米的半圆形水池。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月和2020年12月，社区先后两次列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单。[1]
