逢沙村是佛山市顺德区大良街道下辖的行政村，位于街道中东部，属新城区规划范围，总面积7.3平方公里，东北隔河与广州市番禺区榄核镇相望。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清光绪二十六年（1900年），陆续有来自番禺、中山等地的村民到此垦殖，逐渐成村。新中国成立后定名逢沙；1950年为乡，1958年名为大队，1983年再名为乡，1987年名为村，1989年易名为管理区，1999年易名为村委会。[1]
人口[edit]
村分三会、永丰、大东、兆利、合耕5个片区，共22个村民小组；共1323户，户籍人口6548人，另有暂住的外来者1117人。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单（2018年度）；2021年10月、2022年10月进入「淘宝村」名单；2022年1月获定为「广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位（2021年度）。[1]
