北沙村在里水镇西南方，总面积4.5平方千米，辖5个自然村：沈村、大甫、鹿眠、鹤暖岗和伴仙岗；中共南三花工委旧址就在沈村[1][2]。

村委会简介称，沈村是里水唯一的革命老区，也是佛山市青少年爱国主义教育基地[1]。

中共南三花工委旧址[edit]

旧址在北沙村沈村，建筑面积200平方米，1993年由沈村村民集资，在沈文玉私塾旧址上重建，1995年获市政府拨款修缮。1945年抗战胜利后，南海的中共组织遭到破坏；党员沈少刚受中共广州市工委派遣，回沈村办学，借教师身份开展活动。1946年2月，杜路受派到南海任特派员，以沈村为中心恢复组织。1948年5月，中共珠江地委决定设立中共南（海）三（水）花（县）工作委员会，杜路任书记，陈启锐任副书记，机关设在沈村的沈文玉私塾内[2]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

村简介称，村内西线公路东西向通过，距广州9千米，本地村民3660余人，外来人口3700余人；北沙的传统醒狮在国内外比赛中屡次获奖；2007年被佛山市评为“巾帼示范村”[1]。2024年8月列入佛山市「百千万工程」第二批典型镇村，2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
