共同社区在里水镇中心，面积3.47平方千米，含4个自然村、9个村民小组；孔西古村落就在辖区内的孔村[1][2]。

1984年为和顺区共同乡，1987年起先后叫和顺镇共同村委会、管理区、村民委员会[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清属南海县金利司的下白石堡；1928年属第二区卫安乡；1953至1956年属第九区卫安乡；1957至1958年属和顺乡的卫安片；1958至1959年7月，先后归东风（官窑）公社、里和公社的卫安大队；1968年初到1983年，是红旗（和顺）公社的共同大队，与和顺大队分设[1]。

孔西古村落[edit]

孔西古村落在共同社区孔村内，临近佛山一环北线的里和公路出口。据介绍，明永乐九年（1411年），原籍山东曲阜的孔子五十八世孙孔仕通，带着儿子彦均、彦璋，从广州彩虹桥迁来建村。村中民居是清代建筑，保存完好，建筑群占地18.89亩，共80座民居，按七巷八排排布。2010年8月，它被评为南海区十大古村落之一；2012年9月，又成为第三批广东省古村落[2]。

经济[edit]

村简介称，辖区耕地608亩，另有鱼塘214亩、花卉地466亩；村民（本地）2979人，外来者2150人；2007年经济总收入3.0119亿元，工业总产值1.839亿元[1]。2019年9月，共同社区进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
