头份社区属汕头市澄海区凤翔街道，位于澄海区东南，东接涂池，西南邻南港，辖区4.13平方公里。[1]清末，蓬洲都外砂乡的王厝人来此垦荒，把田地由北往南分成头份、中份、尾份，居北的一片叫头份，后来成村，名字沿用。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属坝头乡（1934年），新中国成立后属海滨区，1959年成为坝头人民公社的头份生产大队，1983年改头份乡，1986年称头份村。[1]坝头镇2002年撤销，头份划入凤翔街道，改称社区。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区耕地1910亩，2100户，9678人，设4个居民小组。[1]改革开放后建起恒达、荣福两个工业区，合计335亩，进驻企业78家；2009年工业产值6亿元，农业产值6645万元。[1]
