百二两社区属汕头市澄海区凤翔街道，在澄海城区东南约七公里，下辖百二两、东温乾、灰厝、八十亩四个自然村，总面积1.9平方公里。[3]
名称由来[edit]
清末，莲阳乡下王（今槐南村）的人先来此定居，后来外砂人为避兵祸也迁来，此地起初叫福坪。传说有村民在地里挖出一个七斤半（旧秤一百二十两）重的甘薯，村名遂改为百二两。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原属外砂乡；1959年成为坝头人民公社的百二两生产大队，1986年称百二两村，隶坝头镇。[2]坝头镇2002年撤销，百二两划入凤翔街道，改称社区。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网，社区1850户，7432人，耕地1851亩，居民约各三成务工、经商、种田。[3]村内的百二两市场建筑面积四千七百平方米，原是坝头镇的集贸中心；2009年工业产值约8500万元，农业产值约2000万元。[3]
