洲畔社区属汕头市澄海区凤翔街道，北邻白砂，西临外砂河，南接南港，东临牛溪，三面都是水，因此叫洲畔。[1][2]辖区含九个自然村，名为咸石茂、东围、企马线、高塭、四合、下水，另有沙沟仔、大沙沟和透寮。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年属海滨区，此后成为坝头人民公社的洲畔生产大队（1959年）、洲畔乡（1983年）和坝头镇的洲畔村（1986年）。[1]坝头镇2002年撤销后，洲畔划入凤翔街道，改称社区。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区地域2.53平方公里，6271人，以农业、畜牧、副业和渔业为主。[2]1956年水稻亩产过千斤，受到国务院嘉奖，又以养禽闻名，是澄海珍禽良种基地之一。[2]辖内有兴业厂房开发区、莲花心工业区两处；2009年工业产值5.81亿元，村集体总收入4921万元。[2]
