仙居社区属汕头市澄海区凤翔街道，位于澄海城区东部，毗邻东湖、外埔、信宁和昆美，面积0.2平方公里。[1]村子建在沙丘上，像居于山顶，俗称山家，后雅称仙居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

仙居原是东湖乡的一个自然村落，1961年从东湖析出，自成一村，设仙居生产大队，隶城关人民公社。[2]1986年11月设仙居村，1996年1月划归新设的凤翔街道，2002年起称仙居社区。[2]2019年9月，仙居社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，社区总户数300户、总人口995人，耕地48亩；经济以工业为主，行业有模具加工、工艺、塑料玩具和毛织服装，2009年工业产值1.95亿元。[1]
