光明社区是深圳市光明区光明街道下辖的社区，位于街道的中心区域。[1] 它的前身是1958年1月创办的广东省国营光明农场，1994年设立光明社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称取「前途光明」之意，因它处在光明街道的中心地带。[1] 1993年11月，经深圳市政府批准，光明华侨畜牧场内部加挂「深圳市宝安区光明街道办事处」的牌子，场和街道办事处合用一套人马；次年即1994年，光明社区居民委员会设立，隶属光明街道，名称沿用到现在。[1]

光明社区在2022年3月入选深圳市住房和建设局认定的首批绿色（宜居）社区。[1] 社区综合服务大楼在华夏路。[1]
