横岗社区是广东省深圳市龙岗区横岗街道下辖的社区，位于街道中心区，总面积2.84平方公里，设上围、南塘、新光、和悦、坝心5个居民小组，另有华西村小区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

社区沿用旧横岗墟之名。旧墟所在地势较高，山岗横卧在往来的山道上，人们往来深圳与龙岗必须从中横过，故称「横岗」。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

社区服务管理人口45038人，有工矿商贸企业241家（街道办事处网页）。[1]
