铁岗社区是广东省深圳市宝安区西乡街道北部的社区，北邻铁岗水库，面积1.5平方公里，抗日战争时期曾是抗日革命老区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
铁岗得名于其西北面山体基岩含有少量铁矿。[1]
抗战时期，铁岗属抗日革命老区，曾帮助东江游击队把滞留香港的爱国人士和知识分子转移出来。解放后称西乡公社凤凰岗大队铁岗生产队；1986年11月，铁岗村自凤凰岗分出，设村委会，先后归新安镇、西乡镇；2004年7月城市化改制后成为社区居委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区在街道北部，面积1.5平方公里，北面就是铁岗水库，南边到西乡河，西边是凤凰岗社区，东至曦城小区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
铁岗社区在2024年1月获确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
