凤凰岗社区是广东省深圳市宝安区西乡街道北部的社区，北靠平峦山，居民多为客家人，以舞麒麟为文化特色，面积2.5平方公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传此地原有一座山岗，岗下曾落过一只凤凰，头朝东南、尾朝西北，故称凤凰岗。[1]
建国初期，凤凰岗归西乡、上川、八合、固戍、黄田几乡联办的联乡；1951至1957年属新西乡，1958年3月并入西乡新西大队。1975年新西大队分出凤岗大队，辖凤岗一至七队与铁岗一、二队，共9个生产小队；1983年成凤岗乡，1985年4月改为新安镇下的凤岗管理区。1986年12月管理区拆成凤凰岗、铁岗两村，1994年1月起归西乡镇，2004年7月城市化改制后更名社区居委会。[2]
地理环境与人口[edit]
社区在街道北部，总面积2.5平方公里，背靠平峦山，铁岗在东，庄边在南，臣田在西。居民多为客家人，明末清初迁来。博雅地名网记有户籍居民约1600人、暂住约3.8万人（未注明年份）。[1]
文化[edit]
社区以舞麒麟为文化特色。[1]西乡街道2024年工作总结提到，凤凰岗麒麟公园是当年完工的公园之一。[3]
凤凰岗社区在2019年9月进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
