大坝村在主田镇中部，村委会离镇政府约0.5公里，下设18个村小组，全村2173人，主要种植黄烟和水稻[1]。1998年撤区建村，改称大坝村委会，沿用至今[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自村委会的驻地大坝村。此地最初是1964年的大坝大队，其后先称乡（1983年），再称管理区（1988年），至1998年改设村委会[1]。

基本情况[edit]

全村553户、2173人，劳动力710人；总面积32816.44亩，其中山林29310.04亩，耕地3506.4亩；有党员58人、村干部6人[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

主要农作物为黄烟和水稻[1]。2019年12月，大坝村列入「第一批国家森林乡村」；2021年9月，因百香果列入「广东省第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。据《南雄年鉴》2020，2019年大坝村被评为韶关市文明村，并列为南雄的百香果专业村[2]。

香草世界森林公园位于大坝村竹篙坑，距南雄市区8公里、距镇政府1.5公里，是集湖泊、农场、牧场、花卉和娱乐设施于一体的亲子游乐景区[1]。
