历史沿革[edit]
西坪在1949年设农会，其后办初级社（1954年）和高级社（1956年），1961年起称大队，1988年称管理区，1998年12月管理区撤销，改设村委会，沿用至今[1]。

全村158户，常住420人，劳动力280人；山林26609.25亩，耕地979亩，含水田957亩和旱田28亩；有党员19人、村干部5人[1]。博雅地名网记其距镇政府20公里[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，西坪村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
