历史沿革[edit]
西洞在1949年设农会，其后办初级社（1954年）和高级社（1956年），1961年起称大队，1983年建乡，1988年称管理区，1998年改设村委会，沿用至今[1]。
基本情况[edit]
全村270户，农村常住493人，劳动力700人；总面积3.27万亩，山林3.06万亩，水田1530亩；有党员36人、干部5人。博雅地名网记其距镇政府20公里[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，西洞村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
