大乐村在乐昌市五山镇东南偏东，离镇政府约10公里，辖10个村小组，农业人口1644人，共300户（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。[1]村名来自村委会辖下最大的自然村大乐。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

大乐的建制沿革：1958年设为大队，1983年设乡政府，1987年改设村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年恢复村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村小组有纸背岭、上东洛、田水、鹿湖、洋河、羊角歧等。村民种水稻，也靠毛竹和禽畜养殖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

大乐村在2024年3月被命名为广东省卫生村（2023年度）；它也在2023年4月公布的省乡村治理示范村创建单位之列，并在2019年9月进入「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
