建制沿革[edit]
梯下村一带在1949年后先设梯下乡，1958年改称梯下大队，1983年成立梯下乡政府，1986年设村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村民委员会，此后名称不变[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网和百度百科所载数字（未注年份），全村113户536人，山林3.2万亩，耕地共641亩（水田393亩，旱地248亩），人均年收入3200元。村里以种桑养蚕为主，每年新增约20亩，并成立“支部+协会”带动农户[1][2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年12月，梯下村名列「第一批国家森林乡村」；2026年3月，又被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」[1]。东坪镇正以“南岭·梯下萤谷”为名打造生态品牌[3]。
