茶坪村在韶关市乳源瑶族自治县，隶属东坪镇，为行政村，是纯瑶族村，在镇政府驻地以东的大山中，与下寨村相邻^[1]。

名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，明万历二十八年（1600年），瑶族赵重之子赵掌来此建村，见山岗上有两棵大青茶树，便以茶坪为名^[1]。

茶坪村一带在1949年后先设茶坪乡，1958年改称茶坪大队，1983年成立茶坪乡政府，1986年设村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村民委员会，此后名称不变^[1]。

据博雅地名网所载数字（未注年份），全村12个村小组、326户、1442人，劳动力684人，人均年收入3171元，另有山林29000亩，耕地246亩。村庄分散，地处偏僻，不少农户已搬到一六镇、乳城镇和桂头镇居住，在原地外另有约600亩耕地。主要产业是林业，每年造林300亩以上^[1]。

2019年9月，茶坪村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」之列；2024年3月被命名为2023年广东省卫生村^[1]。
