历史沿革[edit]
据说村附近曾有一座规模庞大、远近闻名的和尚庵，称为上道寺，村子取“上道”二字为名[1]。
新中国成立后称上道乡，1958年为上道大队，1984年复称乡，1986年设村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1998年又撤管理区设村委会；原属曲江县，2004年划入仁化县[1][2]。
