周田是广东省韶关市仁化县周田镇的镇中心区，行政上设为社区，隶属周田镇，邮政编码512000[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区之名沿用了“周田”这个老地名：建村的时候四周全是农田，村子由此得名[1]。镇政府的介绍则说，镇名本身就取自紧靠镇区的周田村，周田村在明末清初已见于记载，清末形成周田墟（集市）[2]。

周田镇在新中国成立后设区，区址就在周田街[2]。博雅地名网把这里归为“镇中心区”一类，与镇内其余按村庄或镇乡结合区分类的行政村不同[1]。
