东境村是广州市增城区小楼镇东北部的行政村，小楼人家景区在村内，村民以种冬瓜为主，距镇政府5公里[1][2]。

历史沿革与地名[edit]

元代，村人从广州九佛迁来建村，村前原是湖洋田，土语称烂湴，村因此叫湴村；1957年一分为二，位于东部的称东境[1]。1952年土改时为湴村小乡，1956年办成集锋高级社，1983年改为东境乡，1987年1月撤乡改村[1]。

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村内有495户2031人，分属14个经济合作社，总面积3.87平方千米，鱼塘300亩，水田1000亩，山地500亩，二龙河流经村中，福正公路穿村而过[1]。村里近年整饰了大部分房屋外立面，主干道、街巷和篮球场做了硬底化，完成改厕、改水和垃圾池等工程[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

小楼人家景区位于东境村，是国家3A级旅游景区，总面积约20000亩；景区分为始祖仙山荔枝园、八仙湖水上游乐、历史古迹报德祠、农庄美食休闲城、冬瓜菜心万亩园和东西境老街购物休闲六个主题，其中报德祠是佛、道、儒并存的古建筑群[2]。
