水围村为广州市增城区正果镇所辖的行政村，位于镇的东南面，村域面积约7.86平方千米，下设26个经济合作社。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆十年（1745），李氏村民迁到这里建村。亮星水与锡山水在此汇合，把村子绕去半圈，村名因此叫“水围”。[1]

建国后先编入新五区的正南乡；水围初级社1955年组建，1957年并入红星高级社，到公社化的1958年村称水围大队；其后1983年设乡，1987年初乡改为村，组建水围村民委员会。[1]

现状[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村常住户籍人口1925人，水围河穿村而过，一河两岸，部分自然村还保留着较完整的传统村落肌理。2024年11月，水围村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
