泮霞村属广州市增城区中新镇，是镇辖的行政村。博雅地名网所载村情记其面积1.5平方千米，耕地约1200亩，户籍人口1578人（321户），流动人口93人，下辖4个自然村、11个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村后常有日落红霞，称为霞山；村中举人入住宫池旁，俗称“入泮”，两者合起来叫“泮霞”。[1]

泮霞村的集体组织始于1956年成立的泮霞高级农业生产合作社。两年后实行人民公社化，村隶属中新公社，当时的生产大队叫泮霞大队；1959年福和从中新公社划出，村随之改属福和公社。1983年公社改区，大队改称乡，1987年撤乡设村、成立村民委员会，仍归福和镇管辖，2004年福和镇并入中新镇后改属中新镇。[1]

经济与设施[edit]

村辖泮田、桥头、上云、下云4个自然村，水田650亩；村里设有250平方米的文化站，有乒乓球场、图书室和电脑室。[1]
