历史沿革[edit]
村后有一座形似鸡心的山，原称鸡心岭，后改称心岭。[1]
心岭村的集体组织始于1956年成立的心岭高级农业生产合作社。两年后实行人民公社化，村隶属中新公社，当时的生产大队叫心岭大队；1959年福和从中新公社划出，村随之改属福和公社。1983年公社改区，大队改称乡，1987年撤乡设村、成立村民委员会，仍归福和镇管辖，2004年福和镇并入中新镇后改属中新镇。[1]

心岭村列入2023年度“广州市美丽乡村”名单，名单于2024年6月公布；又在2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单之列（2019年9月公布）。[1]
经济与环境[edit]
据百度百科，村在中新镇北部，是渔蔬长廊新乡村示范带的中心；村里有生态林356亩及河涌、水库资源，村民主要靠种植荔枝、龙眼、香蕉和苗木增收，美丽乡村建设中升级了村民活动广场、古井周边和停车场。[2]
