历史沿革[edit]
村周围挖有濠沟，村名由此而来。[1]
濠迳先隶属里汾高级农业合作社和里汾大队，1971年才单立濠迳大队；据村情，村民于南宋咸淳元年（1265年）自福建莆田迁来建村。1983年大队改称乡，1987年设濠迳村民委员会，属福和镇，2004年随福和镇并入中新镇。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
据百度百科，濠迳村位于中新镇西北部，三面环山，西福河的支流灵水穿村而过，村下分濠迳、庆头两个自然村，合作社8个。世居村民的姓氏有汤、叶、张、李等，使用粤语。[2]
文化与研学[edit]
百度百科称，村里修缮了濠迳古书屋和汤氏宗祠，并引入金山地质博物馆濠迳分馆，建起岭南史前博物馆、矿物历史馆等科普场馆，已获批为广东省科普基地和广州市中小学研学实践教育基地；村里还得过广东省乡村治理示范村和广州市文明示范村的称号。[2]
中新镇政府介绍的濠迳亲子地质公园为国家3A级旅游景区、市级研学基地。[3]
