福和社区在广州市增城区中新镇的镇中心区，因地处福和片区而得名。福和原为独立的镇，2004年并入中新镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

福和居委会成立于1987年，那时福和是独立的镇；2002年居委会改称社区居民委员会，至今未变。2004年福和镇并入中新镇，社区随之归中新镇管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 广州市绿色社区：2022年11月，经市住建部门认定。[1]
  • 广州市充分就业社区：列入2024年的认定名单，时间为当年11月。[1]
