丹邱村是朱村街道北部的行政村，分18个经济合作社，相传唐代已有人在此建村，村内的步云桥是广州市文物保护单位。[1] 2023年11月，该村入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，有两种讲法：一说全村仅邱姓一家，称「单邱」，后来读成「丹邱」；另一说唐代这里住着一位姓邱的单身汉，人称「单邱仔」，后来此地发展成集市，不再孤单，人们便借谐音写作「丹」。[1]

土改时（1951年）设丹邱乡；农业合作化时（1956年）分成群丰、群青两个社；公社化后称丹邱大队，隶属中新公社，朱村公社成立后一度叫前进大队，1978年恢复原名。1983年改为丹邱乡，1987年设村民委员会，2004年起属朱村街道。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村里常住居民约3054人，耕地3570亩，农民年均收入6025元（2009年）。白水山一带以山泉水、丝苗米、云母石等做文章，发展观光农业。[1] 2022年10月，丹邱村被省农业农村厅认定为「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（2022年度），品类是增城丝苗米。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

步云桥架在大岗自然村西北的大岗涌上，广州市政府于2015年8月19日将它列为「第八批广州市文物保护单位」，保护范围是桥外缘向外10米。[1]
