历史沿革[edit]
相传唐代时先民自南雄迁来。到了明末，江姓人家从紫金县高堂村迁入，村子叫「湾角牛」，清末改作「角牛」。[1]
土改时（1951年）属丹邱乡，合作化时（1956年）建群爱农业社，公社化后归丹邱大队；1963年单独设山角大队，1967年间曾叫红星大队，1978年改回；1983年成为山角乡，1987年设村民委员会，2004年起属朱村街道。[1]
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村有耕地3400亩，常住人口2360人（未注明年份），被称作万亩农业生产基地和荔枝产区。[1] 2019年9月，山角村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
