历史沿革[edit]
土改时（1951年）这里归龙岗乡，高级社时期（1956年）称龙新农业合作社，之后成为中新公社龙岗大队的一部分，朱村公社成立后又编入前锋大队。1978年，龙新自前锋大队分出，单独成大队；1983年改称龙新乡；1987年改设龙新村民委员会；2004年起属朱村街道。[1]
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村内水田2362亩、山地120亩，人口1663人，未注明年份。广州市先科农业有限公司在村里建有万亩蔬菜基地，公司业务涵盖农业技术研究、种养、加工和配送。[1]
2020年8月，龙新村进入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（增城丝苗米）；2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
