分水村隶属广东省广州市从化区太平镇，为镇辖行政村，村委会设在镇域东部。[1] 全村面积约2平方千米，下设9个经济社，村委会介绍的人口为1500人、农户260户（该介绍未注明年份）。村委会距从化城区约30公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

「分水」之名来自村东侧高处的一条水圳：水在这里分成两支，一支东流入增城境内，一支西流汇入从化的流溪河，建村时便取名分水。[1]

合作社时期，这里叫高升社；1962年定名分水大队；1983年12月称分水乡；1987年起为分水村民委员会，延续至今。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，分水村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2026年1月，分水村被认定为「2025年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

经济[edit]

据村委会介绍，村里的生计是：栽种荔枝、龙眼；水田里种水稻、花生。[1]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的历史建筑与传统风貌建筑推荐线索名单中，列有本村的高塱队传统民居群，共1处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
