榄核社区是广州市南沙区榄核镇的居民社区，地处镇中心区，1993年设立居民委员会[1]。社区名称沿用“榄核”这一地名，相传清康熙十九年（1680）渔民在滩涂采蚝，弃土经潮水冲积成中间大、两头小的沙垄，形似榄核，后来成陆开村，因此得名[2]。

榄核社区居民委员会成立于1993年，隶属榄核镇[1]。

荣誉[edit]

榄核社区在2022年11月经广州市住房和城乡建设局认定，成为「广州市2022年绿色社区」[1]；2024年11月，社区入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
