大生村是广州市南沙区榄核镇的行政村，位于镇北岸，距镇中心约2公里，被称为革命老区，也曾是番禺区的新农村建设试点村[1]。村名来自堤围的一段故事：筑坝成围不久，洪水冲崩了堤，村民叫这里“大崩涌”，后来取谐音改为“大生涌”[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
堤围筑成于1880年，当时叫“大崩涌”，1952年才改作“大生涌”（围）；1960年公社化后立大生大队；1984年起称大生乡；到1987年，大生村民委员会成立[1]。
经济[edit]
2009年全村1368人、499户，人均收入11552元，村集体经济纯收入34万元，农业总产值1518万元；耕地1945亩，以甘蔗（788亩）、花卉（420亩）和鱼塘（427亩）为主[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，大生村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
