八沙村是广州市南沙区榄核镇的行政村，位于镇西部，北面是榄核河，南面临潭洲水道，隔水与顺德区相望^[1]。村名原为“鳖沙”，据说因沙滩上鳖鱼多而得名，后来按粤语谐音改写为“八沙”^[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

20世纪三四十年代榄核一带围垦造田，来自顺德一带的居民向东迁入，在此立村；六十年代设八沙大队；1984年八沙与新涌合并为新涌乡；1987年两地分开，成立八沙村民委员会^[1]。

2009年全村1426人，469户，另有外来流动人口2480人；有企业8家，农业总产值3676万元，工业总产值14756万元，村集体纯收入48万元；种植以果蔗、香大蕉为主，鱼塘633亩^[1]。

2024年11月，八沙村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」^[1]。
