新涌村是广州市南沙区榄核镇的行政村，位于镇中心西南面，与顺德区隔河相望，距镇中心约1.5公里，村域内有镇划定的11平方千米工业建设用地[1]。《番禺县镇村志》称该村1940年筑围成村，村内新开了河涌，故名新涌[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期，新涌属沙九螺联乡，编为“新一村”；土地改革时独立设村；1960年公社化后立新涌大队；1984年起称新涌乡；到1987年，新涌村民委员会成立[1]。
经济[edit]
2009年全村人口2504人，人均收入13487元，村集体经济总收入211万元，工农业总产值5607万元；耕地2588亩，其中鱼塘1200亩、果蔗739亩、蔬菜363亩[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，新涌村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
