历史沿革[edit]
该村于1949年新中国成立后得名；公社化期间与上坭、下坭一起并入上坭大队，1984年称乡；1987年从中分出，坳尾村及其村民委员会由此成立[1]。
经济[edit]
2009年全村常住1190人，流动人口250人，8个生产队、375户，土地1368亩，适合种花卉和香蕉并养殖水产；附近有可容纳1000多名学生的双翼小学[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，坳尾村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
