同兴村在万顷沙镇西北部，万环西路三涌至六涌一带，交通便利，辖区面积5175亩，耕地3503亩（2008年数据）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

同兴围由清代中叶村民围海造田而成，之后又添合丰围、隆兴围和三顷围，分散的居民点合并成村。[1]

1949年以前为同兴乡；1958年公社化，设同兴大队；1959年7月，随万顷沙划入番禺县，与珠江华侨农场合并成公社。其后属万顷沙区、万顷沙镇，1987年成立村民委员会，2005年10月起属南沙区。[1]

村名寓意同村的人和睦相处、共同兴旺。[1]

经济[edit]

村内设有同兴工业园，园内有占地33.3公顷的纺织印染企业等。农业方面，水瓜种植面积约1300亩，是村里农业的重要支柱，养殖面积也有1300亩。[1]

2008年全村562户、2256人。2024年11月，获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定。[1]
