沙尾二村在万顷沙镇十一涌至十三涌一段，区域面积12000亩，是镇中心区的行政村之一，村内有广兴、利东、利西、十二涌、十三涌5个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村域由清末至民国初年围出的利安东围起步，1949年后向东又围垦约1.067平方千米。[1]

万顷沙公社于1959年成立后，这里编为沙尾二生产大队；其后1984年成乡，1987年成立村民委员会，2005年10月起属南沙区。[1]

村名与地理位置有关：建村时此处是万顷沙最末端的沙尾，又排在大沙尾片的第二位，故称沙尾二村。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网引述的资料，全村有1295户、4904人，耕地8800亩，主要姓陈、李、何、梁。特色水果有番木瓜、番石榴、砂糖桔和皇帝柑；2011年集体经济纯收入120万元。[1]

2024年11月，获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定。[1]
