历史沿革[edit]
相传朱氏三世祖朱中阳迁居深湾约在元至顺年间（1330年前后）。[2]
1953年建政时属新建乡；1958年同东井村合编为一个大队，1965年分出单独成队；1987年建村民委员会，1993年又设管理区并办起村的发展公司；现称的南沙街深湾村民委员会成立于2007年6月。[2]
人口[edit]
村页记载，2009年时户籍170户、503人，外来人口600多人。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年12月，深湾村被认定为「全国乡村治理示范村」；2024年1月被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」；2025年9月入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
