南横村在广州市南沙区，数据列于南沙街道，博雅地名网现把它归在港湾街道。清光绪年间（1875—1908年），这里起初是渔民在岸上的聚居点，后来外乡农民围垦定居，形成村落。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年建政时并入大岭乡；1958年同三姓围村合编为南横大队，1965年三姓围分出；1987年建村民委员会，1993年起设管理区办事处和村的发展公司；2008年起改称广州市南沙区南横村民委员会。[1]
人口与荣誉[edit]
村页记载，2009年3月时有653户、户籍2157人，外来人口2000人。[1] 2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
