历史沿革[edit]
相传同治年间（1862—1874年）有四乡农民先后来这里围垦，才成村落，当时归东莞县。1953年村属飞联乡，1959年起归万顷沙人民公社，1965年编为沙螺湾大队。[1][2]
1987年设村，1992年增设管理区，2005年后由村民委员会管理，隶属南沙街道。[1]
人口与荣誉[edit]
村页写有446户、1475人，主要姓氏为樊、梁、陈、王、李，未注年份。[2] 2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
