大涌村是广州市南沙区南沙街道的行政村。据《番禺县镇村志》，这里原是蕉门水道东北岸的大片冲积滩涂，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清光绪二十年（1894年），外地移民来此筑围耕种，才形成村落；原属东莞县，1953年建政时并入大岭乡，当时属珠海县万顷沙乡。[1]
此后依次为大涌生产队（1958年）、大涌大队（1965年），1987年定名大涌村；管理区设于1992年，2005年10月起由村民委员会管理，隶属南沙街道。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，大涌村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
