历史沿革[edit]
村里的黎姓先人原籍陕西京兆郡，宋代南迁广东，经南雄珠玑巷到东莞，再由东莞迁到南沙塘坑村；明成化年间（1465年），其中大部分人迁到板头围垦建村。[2][3]
1953年建政时属飞联乡；1958年同广隆、金洲合编为板头大队，1965年两村分出，板头独立成队；1987年定名板头村，2005年起改由村民委员会管理。[1][3]
经济与文化[edit]
村页（未注年份）写着710户、户籍1570人，外来人口近2万人。传统上种水稻、水果、蔬菜，山坡地大量种荔枝、龙眼。[2]
南沙区第二中学、南沙区金隆小学坐落村内；村里修葺祠堂作文化活动中心，建有五岳宫古庙。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，板头村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
