历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区得名的缘由是：辖区内有梅花路，并取梅花高洁、坚强之意。[1] 社区原属新华街道办事处，2013年12月随粤民区〔2013〕18号文件划归花城街道办事处管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月被广州市住建部门确定为「2021年绿色社区」；2020年12月列入2020年度省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
