东边村是广州市花都区花城街道下辖的行政村，原属狮岭镇，位于狮岭镇东部，面积5.8平方千米，村民住宅主要集中在芙蓉大道西侧。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传徐氏兄弟徐伯其、徐伯仁于明正统七年（1442年）自新华镇三华来此放鸭，在小山岗东边落户建村，村名即由此而来。[1] 1963年称南洲大队；1987年隶属狮岭区公所、狮岭镇，2013年12月划归花城街道。[1]
人口民族[edit]
全村分松园、三龙、西城、南一、上元、南二、榕和、东成、昌一、昌二、榕华11个自然庄，有徐、叶、谭、邓、温等姓；共890户，户籍人口3200人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。[1]
经济[edit]
村以农业为主，耕地2500亩，有花卉和蔬菜种植场、700多亩鱼塘，外来落户企业20间。[1] 2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2024年11月获认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
