地名由来[edit]
村子地势北高南低，三面环山，村落形状像梅花，故名梅花。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
解放后该地属第三区。1957年成立梅花管理区，1958年冬改称梅花大队；1983年归梅花乡管辖，1987年改由村民委员会管理，1989年复称梅花管理区，1999年村委会重新设立，直到今天。[2]
产业[edit]
梅花村的生态白鸽养殖园由龙翔达生态农业发展有限公司经营。2024年的工作总结称，养殖园一期建设已全面完成，预计年出栏白鸽5万羽，可提供近100个就业岗位。[5]2025年的工作总结则提到，养殖园存栏白鸽一万三千对余，年出栏量约22万只，产值约300万元。两年的数字并不一致，此处各自注明年份。[4]
2024年以来，全镇在东山、梅花、高南等村新增高标准农田建设面积2755.98亩。[4]2025年的工作计划把梅花村与东山村、天云村一同定位为典型村示范带。[5]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，梅花村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2026年3月，梅花村列入广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村名单。[6]
