崇德村是广州市番禺区新造镇的行政村，位于镇中心地带，镇区居民与村民混居，下设8个村民小组，户籍人口1514人。村名取自《论语》中「主忠信」为「崇德」之义的说法，2023年入选《广州市地名保护名录（第二批）》。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1106年（北宋崇宁五年），朝廷侍御史黎丙戌南下来到广东，在这里立村，起名礼园，后来分成九坊，崇德坊是其中之一。后来崇德、西街、坑田三坊并为一村，即崇德村。崇德村民委员会成立于1987年。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村里的农业人口为543户、1514人，常住的镇区居民约800人，外来人员约1300人。历年被征用土地798亩。村集体靠第三产业增收，开办有崇德村市场和荔景酒店等。[1]

据百度百科，村里的第二期经济发展留用地项目于2023年获批，配套商业楼在2025年验收完工。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

新造镇的衙门街在崇德村新华路一带，路名有说法与清代茭塘巡检司的衙门有关。[3]

2024年11月，崇德村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
