历史沿革[edit]
村子明朝万历年间建立，原叫白泥涌，后人嫌这名字不雅，借村边如白练一般的小河，改称练溪。1987年设立练溪村民委员会。[1]
搬迁与现状[edit]
谷围新邨内共有6个行政村，居住人口约1万多人。搬迁时练溪村户籍人口1107人、385户，分5个村民小组；村土地全部被征用，主要收入来自15%预留用地的租金。村府办公楼里设有图书室。[1]
据百度百科，原址保留了宗祠、蚝壳墙等历史建筑，并建成岭南印象园，端午龙舟竞渡的传统延续至今；该村在2023年12月评上广州市健康社区（村）。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，练溪村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
