员岗村是广州市番禺区南村镇下辖的行政村，在镇的北部。村民聚居在一座圆形的山岗旁，村名由此而来，早先写作圆岗。[1]岭南画派的高剑父、高奇峰兄弟是员岗人，员岗飘色是村里的传统民间艺术。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

郑姓在唐末建村，最初写作圆岗，之后简写为员岗。清代，这里隶属广州府番禺县的茭塘司显社乡。人民公社化时期称园岗大队，到1987年设立员岗村民委员会。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

博雅地名网的概况页给出村域面积2.77平方千米，在册户籍人口2854人、1330户，村集体年收入约721.75万元，同页另一段却写面积约1.2平方千米、总人口2560多人，两处数字不一致，均未注明年份。[2]村域西邻华南快速干线，东靠南沙港快速路，南大干线在南面，地铁7号线从村旁经过。[2]

文化[edit]

员岗飘色在2008年10月的民间飘色（抬阁）艺术展演中以《一举夺冠》获金奖，2009年又获全国「第九届中国民间文艺山花奖」的民间艺术表演奖；2010年作为代表参加香港屯门的龙母庙诞飘色大巡游。[2]员岗的梁振洪因制作龙头和飘色的手艺，被评为广州市优秀农村民间文艺家。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

丛桂坊门楼在桂桂坊大街二巷，又名「博陵石坊」，始建于明代，清乾隆己丑年（1769年）重修，为两柱一间二楼的石牌坊，高约7米。[1]它属于番禺区政府公布的区级文物保护单位（2010年11月第一批）。[3]

著名人物[edit]

高剑父（1879年—1951年），广州番禺人，岭南画派创始人之一；高奇峰（1889年—1933年）是他的弟弟，生于番禺圆岗乡。村里有以高剑父命名的员岗剑父小学。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，员岗村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2020年至2022年上榜淘宝村名单；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2025年12月获评「2025年番禺区高质量就业社区（村）」；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
